Spring Patio : Taupe+ Blue

And in the blink of an eye, my extended stay in Calgary has come to an end. I’ve had an enjoyable month with my family and old friends who have made my stay both eventful and fun. It warms my heart knowing that many of my old friendships still exist despite the time that has gone by. For most things in life, the newer the better. But for friends, the older the better. Hope to be back for another visit soon!

Spring is soon approaching and I am already geared up in Spring outerwear.  Today I sported some striking shades of blue calmed with a neutral taupe colour. As we step closer to Spring and the sun comes out more, I look forward to digging out some bright pieces in my closet.

    This colour combination works for me. I like taupe a lot and blue as well (like majority of the population ;) ) Interesting thing as far as the striped shirts are concerned, in Brazil, I have an impression, people are afraid to use them, even my husband was almost banned to do that, me too, because striped shirts are especially used for ‘Festa Junina’ a festival where people dress up as a countryman. Different quality for me but still however something not really acceptable in the Brazilian society, let’s talk about the medium class :)
