Crossover : Wool Topcoat + Mickey Tee

Calgary is an odd city for many reasons, but one that I’ve been noticing lately is how the sun here likes to play hide-and-seek. Today the sun would come out for just five or ten minutes and then go away. So when I wanted to take photos with the sunlight against the snow, I had to dart out of my house and snap the shots swiftly. Although this was a bit annoying, it was a fun challenge that kept me entertained.

In today’s look I’m combining a sophisticated wool topcoat with a playful Mickey Mouse tee. I got this idea from Burberry London’s ad campaign in the Fall where they had models rock long coats over top of whimsical sweatshirts. I’m digging this unexpected pairing because it visually depicts how one can be an adult on the outside but still a kid on the inside.
