Italiano : Bomber Jacket + Chevron Scarf
There are many things I love about Italy; from the food to the history, I’m a big fan of it all. Italian fashion is no exception. I admire how Italian designers such as Marni and Prada use bold colours and eccentric patterns to create memorable visual effects. Last year I had the chance to check out the Prada x Schiaperelli exhibit at The Met, and I was simply blown away by these two designers’ unparalleled masterpieces of art. Today I decided to sport some Italian style by wearing my old school leather jacket, chevron scarf, and tobacco-coloured pants – it’s a combination of strong tones topped with a funky pattern.

I’m wearing:
Brooks Brothers Bomber Jacket (new version here)
Club Monaco Crewneck Sweater | Zara Tobacco Jeans | Ray Ban Aviators
Missoni Zigzag Scarf | Topman Morris Chukka Boots

Missoni to me is like the Burberry of Italy. It’s an iconic Italian brand with a rich history and value. For the longest time, I’ve been on the hunt for a Missoni scarf in the classic brown colour and chevron pattern. Believe it or not, it was surprisingly hard to find this classic scarf! After seriously a year of looking, I eventually found this one at a Century 21 Designer Event online around Christmas time. I bought this scarf without much hesitation and it is definitely one of my best purchases in 2012.
