Gentlemenswear : Timeless Pieces

Although wearing a sweater over a shirt is a common style, playing with different colours and patterns can make a huge difference in the entire look. The last time I wore a shirt over a sweater, I kept with simple and neutral colours for a clean look. Here in this look, I opted for a darker plaid shirt with a burgundy sweater to produce a more distinctive going-out look.

I’m wearing:

Coat – All Saints | Shirt – Zara | Sweater – Gap
Jeans – H&M | Boots – Zara | Sunglasses – Banana Republic

I remember that I purchased my first peacoat during my final year of high school. When I wore it to school for the first time, friends teased me for wearing such a  formal coat to Physics class. A few winters later, almost every guy owns a peacoat now! It’s a winter wardrobe essential because it can be worn over any formal look, or even a casual look if you want to remix your style. It took me some time and some tailoring to find my perfect peacoat, but seeing how much wear I get out of it, all that effort was worth it.
